Our mission is to connect Democrats in New Lenox with the Democratic Party, to recruit and train grassroots organizers, to provide a range of events and opportunities to engage with field operations, and to help Democratic candidates win up and down the ballot. To that end, we host or participate in many different activities:
- Neighborhood candidate receptions
- Candidate recruitment
- Public candidate forums and debates
- Parades and village festivals
- Door-to-door canvassing
- Phone-banking
- Voter registration drives
- Community service
- Fundraisers (for ourselves or for candidates)
- Issues-based forums or presentations
- Letter-writing campaigns
